Under Anne's leadership, Crossroads was transformed from a small social services agency to the largest provider of shelter and services for homeless men, women and children in Rhode Island, and one of the nation's most innovative homeless services organizations.

Established by Crossroads in 2011, the Howard G. Sutton Endowment Fund ensures future funding to help Rhode Island's homeless.
This special endowment fund in Howard Sutton’s name recognizes and honors him for his commitment and dedication to helping the homeless men, women and children in Rhode Island. Howard served as Chair of the Crossroads Board of Directors from 2004 to 2011 and as Chair of the “Right Moves” fund drive which resulted in the relocation of Travelers Aid to the present headquarters at 160 Broad Street.
Howard Sutton is truly a “Man on a Mission” with his tireless efforts supporting the mission of Crossroads Rhode Island to help homeless or at-risk individuals and families secure stable homes.
